The Fossil PDA watch is finally here. Whew! After 2 years of delays and tweakings, Fossil has finally shipped this long awaited gadget.

Much smaller than a conventional PDA, the Fossil PDA watch packs a lot into a small space.

Are you ready for it? I think a better question is: Is it ready for you? The PDA watch is a promising idea. I often leave my PDA behind, especially in casual settings, because it is a bother to carry around. This gadget would take care of that. But as small as it is, it is still much larger than a conventional watch, and for those of us with size-challenged wrists (read thin) it looks a little goofy on my wrist. The small screen display is also challenging for my middle-aging eyes.

I think I could use the PDA watch right now, but since this is a first generation product, don't look for The GadgetShoppe.com to offer this item until it matures a little bit more. When will that be? Hopefully soon, but stay tuned and we'll let you know when we're ready to jump.

As for me, I can't wait until it can handle voice commands without being a burden. Look out, Dick Tracy!
